Sprout Burger Pattie (with Crunchy Mix)

Ingredients:

  • 120gm sprouted crunchy mix
  • 1 spring onion finely chopped
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander seeds
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup LSA (Linseeds, sunflower seeds & almonds or flaxseeds

Method:

Place sprouts in the food processor, add the spices, spring onion, olive oil and carrot. Process until blended, add a little water to mixture if needed to help to combine. 

Put mixture into another bowl and fold through the LSA or flaxseed (grounded). Form into patties and cover with a damp cloth, refrigerate for up to 30 minutes.

Heat some oil in a pan fry patties for 3-5 minutes on each side. 

serving size: 4 small patties or 2 large. 

Serving Suggestion:

These can be served on your plate with a salad for a simple and easy summer meal. Our family love to use them to make a burger with your choice of toppings, they go great with a japanese style slaw with a creamy sesame dressing.
